Deewanji Haveli embodies the sweet smell of wood and dust gathered over 280 years from the shedding of stories and secrets which been passed between its walls.

This haveli is an architectural icon which takes charge of 603 years old city of Ahmedabad. It holds in its place the magic of a deceased way of life that ought to be engraved into its memoirs for its people and the world, and it is waiting for your arrival.

Deewanji Haveli, which means, house of the Deewan, a minister in the court of the Badshah (King) who was the Deewan in his family’s residence during the Mughal era. The haveli was built by Shri Shankardas Kantharia, Nagar brahmin from Nadiad.

The Haveli is located in the core walled city of Ahmedabad called Sankadi Sheri, Manekchawk and spread over 1,000 sq ft. This 20 room haveli has a built-up area of 3500 sq ft. which is quite huge.  

This huge mansion has an underground swimming pool too which defines a perfect definition of luxury living. Apart from the swimming pool, this haveli has 4 underground tanki which can store up to 1 lakh liter rainwater using a harvesting system.
